Cauliflower Crust Pizza
Ingredients:
One cauliflower-grated
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs
2 tbls olive oil
Pizza sauce of your choice
Fresh mozzarella cheese-cubed in little squares
A pizza stone (it's okay to use a pizza pan but a pizza stone works best)
Step 1: Grated the cauliflower on the largest whole setting. Mostly the flower part and be sure not to include too much of the stems. Discard stems that are not being used.
Step 2:
Heat a skillet on medium. Put the grated cauliflower into the skillet and cook out the moisture. Be very careful not to brown or burn the cauliflower. Turn and stir often and do keep a watch. This should take about 20 to 30 minutes. Let cauliflower mixture cool somewhat in a bowl.
Step 3:
While cauliflower is cooling, mix 2 eggs the parmesan cheese together. Add the dried cauliflower. Stir well then knead with hands.
Step 4: On an oiled (olive oil) pizza stone, spread the cauliflower mixture as if it were any other dough. Make a ridge at the edges so as to hold in the sauce.
Step 5: Put crust into the oven at 400 for 20 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
Step 6:
Remove pizza stone with cauliflower dough and top with your favorite sauce, and toppings and the fresh mozzarella cheese.
Step 7:
Bake pizza in oven at 400 for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and bubbly.
Now you’ve got a no carb healthy delicious pizza.
